White horehound, also called common horehound, hoarhound, or simply horehound, is a perennial herb that grows in areas like France, Germany, Great Britain, and coastal areas of the U.S. and Canada. The herb is most commonly found in open pastures or along the sides of railroads and roads. It features tough, wrinkled leaves and whitish flowers that flower between June and September. The dry and fresh leaves, which feature a musky smell, are used for medicinal purposes and can be made into a tea or infusion.
