What is Seal Oil?

Seal oil is the fatty oil derived from seal meat. Seal oil is commonly derived from harp seals, a species of seals native to Newfoundland and other parts of northern Canada. Seal oil is available as a supplement, similar to fish oils.1

Seal oil is high in omega-3 fatty acids, nutrients that have powerful anti-inflammatory properties.
